Selected Work
I've produced stories for CNN, NPR, Gimlet Media and Slate.
I've followed a single story-line for nine months, and I've also turned around an episode in a day. I've crafted precisely worded scripts and I've cut non-narrated pieces. Here are some of the projects I'm proud of, that reflect that range.
All There Is with Anderson Cooper
I produced this series exploring Anderson Cooper's personal journey with grief and loss, alongside two associate producers. The show reached No.1 on Apple's Podcasts chart and was written up by the New Yorker, the New York Times and others. As producer, I pitched and booked guests, developed interview prep and questions, selected and assembled archival tape, and worked closely with Anderson to execute his vision.

The James Brown Mystery
I worked closely with a senior CNN writer to turn 5 years of his reporting into an 8 episode limited series. This was a 9 month undertaking that involved wading through hundreds of hours of tape collected by the reporter prior to the greenlighting of the podcast, sitting in on and directing countless hours of new interviews, outlining the arc of the series, overseeing the work of 2 associate producers and 1 production assistant, giving notes on and rewriting sections of scripts, and going on a week-long field reporting trip with the CNN writer.

Chasing Life
I helped develop the format and tone of Sanjay Gupta's newest podcast, and saw the first and second season through from inception to publication. As a producer on the show, I pitched stories, identified characters, pre-interviewed and booked guests, prepared research and interview questions for our host, assembled and scored tape in Pro Tools, and wrote scripts from beginning to end.

Here are three episodes I served as the lead producer on:

Coronavirus: Fact Vs Fiction
Starting in April of 2020, I helped CNN cover the pandemic day in and day out. I produced one to two episodes a week of this WEBBY, EPPY- and SHORTY award-winning podcast, often as the sole/lead producer.
Here are three episodes I produced:

Reply All
I was a part of the small team that saw this mini-series through from initial reporting to publication. I tracked down government documents that were essential to the story (one of which changed our ending the day before we were going to publish!), found and assembled archival tape, organized nearly 100 hours of tape, and contributed in group edits.
The Indicator
I pitched, reported and voiced this episode of The Indicator about the alarming increase in the cost of air ambulance services, told through the story of one husband and wife who were charged wildly different rates for the same service. I combed through dozens of patient bills to find the right characters, and interviewed industry experts, former air ambulance pilots, and patient advocates for the story.
Planet Money
I helped report two episodes of Planet Money, and voiced one. I booked guests, conducted interviews, and wrote early drafts of scripts.
